RUSSIAN BOR PRODUCED 7,686 TONS OF BORIC ACID IN NOVEMBER
December 11. 2014. Mining Chemical Company Russian Bor announces the production results for November 2014.
This November the plant produced 7,686 tons of boron containing products. During the same period 3,727 tons of boron containing products were shipped off. As of today the production concern utilizes full-cycle operations, while its volume is in line with the average monthly statistics. The company having no wage arrears.
Meanwhile the world market of boron containong products is still crippled by oversupply in the Asia-Pacific region that accounts for a lion’s share of boron-based products consumption, which puts pressure on their prices. With ruble devaluation offering limited financial support to Russian Bor, high production costs still bar from expanding the supplies. Therefore the mining and chemical plant is now contemplating several investment projects to boost the end product output and thereby lower its dependency on the oversupplied world market of boric acid.
